Slow Living: Pull the thread

Is there something on your mind today? Perhaps there’s a loose thread sticking out in the back of your mind, something small you’ve been unconsciously ignoring. It’s almost imperceptible if you don’t pay attention to it. But it’s there. What is it?

Maybe your skin is craving sunlight, or you really need a hug. Maybe you need to take a day off and drive to the mountains and commune with the wind in the trees and feel the mossy earth between your toes. Whatever it is, your body knows what you need.

There’s a time and a place for hard work. Productivity can wait it’s rightful turn.

For now? Stray from the path. Pull the thread. Tell me, where does it want to take you?
