Nana’s Mozie Recipe from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood

If you have a toddler or preschooler in your house, you probably know allll about Mozies thanks to our fuzzy friend Daniel Tiger. Our two year old is absolutely obsessed with the show. I watched every episode at least 100 times in 2020. 😅🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m happy to report that no brains were melted from all that screen time either. 👍🏻😂

Mozies honestly sounded so good when they were making them, so I thought it might be fun to try out the recipe with Po! Baking with my toddler turned out to be less Pinterest and more colossal failure (she just wanted to eat the ingredients plain LOL), but they were simple enough that I was able to do it in 5 minutes while she played.

Mozies Recipe:

  • 1 banana, smashed

  • 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup old fashioned rolled oats

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 1/4 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut

  • 1/4 cup raisins/walnuts/dried cherries/etc

  • 1/8 cup mini chocolate chips

  • Mix the ingredients in a medium sized bowl, roll out dough into balls, and bake at 350 for 12-15 mins.

They're surprisingly good! They have just the right amount of sweetness. I foresee many more Daniel Tiger-themed recipes in my future! 🐯🔮
